Greenland Equipment Ltd. is a fast growing John Deere Dealership in Carman, |
|
Manitoba, located 40 minutes south west of Winnipeg. |
|
|
The Controller is accountable for accurate and timely monthly and annual financial information in compliance with Private Enterprise Accounting Standards, within expected deadlines; |
|
Ensures compliance of company policies and procedures; |
|
Prepares general ledger transactions and reconciliations, managing daily and short term cash flows, monthly bank and vendor statement reconciliations;
Management of aged A/R and A/P listings; |
|
Providing IT support and solutions and managing security of assets; |
|
Preparing year end working papers and support for external auditors during the annual review. |
|
|
The successful candidate will be preferably working towards or have completed an Accounting Designation, is a leader in coaching and strategic planning, have demonstrated |
|
strength in problem solving and analysis, must be organized and detail oriented, |
|
have advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office tools: Word and Excel. |
|
|
A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the agricultural industry would be an asset. |
|
A combination of education and years of experience will be considered. |
|
|

Service Technician
Greenland Equipment Ltd, a fast growing John Deere Dealership located in Carman, Mb, is accepting resumes for a full-time SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
Responsibilities Include: Diagnosis and repair of all types of farm equipment. Hydraulic and electrical knowledge would be a definite asset. Journeyman ticket in heavy duty/agricultural mechanics is preferred.
Individual must have a valid driver’s license, diagnostic skills, be willing to work overtime during peak seasons, time-management skills, work with minimal supervision, and be willing to participate in service training programs.
